From the get-go, I was hooked by the premise. A casual livestreamer joining a pro team of "crazies"? Sign me up! The initial chapters are a blast, setting the stage for a fun and engaging story. I was immediately drawn to the protagonist, Jing Yu, and his unique personality.
What Works Well
The characters are a major highlight. Jing Yu is adorably arrogant and surprisingly strong, both in and out of the game. The ML, Qin Fei, is a refreshing take on the "iceberg male god" trope, being playful and supportive instead of just cold. Their relationship develops naturally, with plenty of sweet moments. The team dynamics are absolutely hilarious. The banter between the members of Play Gaily is gold, and their unconventional strategies in the game make for some truly exciting matches. I really enjoyed how the story focuses on the team's growth and interactions rather than just rivalries. Also, I appreciated how forward the characters are once they both realize that they are gay. They wasted no time getting together which was refreshing.

Also, Jing Yu is very overpowered so the story doesn't give you that underdog feel, if that is what you are looking for, this might not be your cup of tea. The second half becomes very game heavy so I would also not recommend if you are not into that.
