Okay, so the title definitely grabbed my attention! "My Boss Had Wet Dreams About Me Everyday" promises a wild ride, and honestly, it delivers. This novel dives headfirst into a world of office romance, special abilities, and, well, very explicit dreams. I went in expecting some laughs and a bit of steam, and that's pretty much what I got.
What Works Well
The comedy is definitely a highlight. The premise itself is hilarious – an MC who can experience other people's dreams about him, and his boss who keeps having those kinds of dreams. The escalation of the dreams is pure comedic gold, going from innocent to outrageously smutty in record time. I found myself giggling throughout, and the short, sweet nature of the story makes it a perfect quick read. The characters, despite the brevity of the novel, have distinct personalities. The MC, while perhaps a bit naive at times, is lovable and hardworking, and the ML has his own charming quirks. The plot twist, while unexpected, adds another layer to the overall enjoyment.
