This web novel, "After Rebirth, I Decided To Inherit the Family Property," was quite the ride! It's a completed story with a focus on comedy, romance, and a dash of fantasy, and I found it to be mostly enjoyable, even if a few aspects didn't entirely click with me.

Going in, I was drawn to the premise: a reborn MC who realizes he's a cannon fodder character in a novel and decides to avoid his demise by becoming a supportive "overbearing president" to the protagonist (who is, naturally, the ML). The initial chapters were hilarious, and the misunderstandings had me laughing out loud. The lightheartedness was definitely a selling point.
What Works Well
The comedy is definitely the strongest element. The MC's inner monologues and his unique (to put it mildly) thought processes are a constant source of amusement. His goal to have the ML call him "dad" is so absurd that it just works. The relationship between the MC and ML, while somewhat typical in its "cold ML/doting MC" dynamic, is undeniably cute and provides plenty of "dog food" moments for those who enjoy that kind of sweetness. I also appreciated that the "revenge" plots were kept in the background, allowing the focus to remain on the comedic and romantic aspects of the story. The novel is very fluffy and lighthearted.

While the MC's personality is a major source of comedy, it's also where the novel falters for some readers. His "short brain circuit" and tendency to jump to wild conclusions can be endearing at first, but it can also become grating over time. I can see how some might find his antics childish or even downright annoying, especially as the story progresses. Also, the plot is very light on details and can be convoluted at times.
