"After I Possessed the Tmall Genie of the School Adonis" is a charming and fluffy BL novel that I found surprisingly enjoyable. While it might not be the most groundbreaking story out there, its heartwarming nature and sweet romance made it a delightful read.

The premise itself is quite unique and a little bizarre – our protagonist somehow ends up possessing the Tmall Genie (think of it as a Chinese Alexa) of the cold and aloof school Adonis. I was immediately intrigued by this setup and eager to see how it would play out.

What really stood out to me was the dynamic between the two leads. Lu Yunfei, the MC, is a ray of sunshine – rich, smart, and genuinely kind. Bian Jinyuan, the ML, is his opposite in many ways – quiet, stoic, and from a humble background. I especially appreciated how the author portrayed their friendship, building a foundation of trust, respect, and concern before diving into romance.
