First Impressions

The premise is fantastic. A movie emperor believing he's an Omega? Sign me up! The initial chapters were filled with humor and intrigue, setting the stage for a potentially amazing romance. The "love at first sight" trope is strong here, and I immediately felt invested in the characters and their strange dynamic.

What Works Well

The author excels at creating a devoted and doting love interest. The male lead is undeniably handsome and falls hard for our protagonist. The comedy is well-executed, providing plenty of laugh-out-loud moments, especially in the beginning as we watch the misunderstandings unfold. The acting element is also well incorporated into the story, adding another layer of depth to the characters. The mature themes are handled well, making the romantic and smut scenes feel natural within the story's context.

Areas of Concern

Now, let's talk about the communication – or rather, the lack thereof. I found myself getting frustrated with the characters' inability to express their feelings openly. Synopsis

Dai Seyang and Zhan Xingqiao have been married for six years and are seen as the perfect couple by outsiders. Dai Seyang is a mature and steady CEO who keeps himself clean. Zhan Xingqiao is a cold and arrogant famous actor. They respect each other and have never had a fight in the six years they’ve been together, even in bed they are harmonious and considerate. After a night of warmth on their wedding anniversary, Zhan Xingqiao lies in Dai Seyang’s arms and suddenly says, “Let’s get a divorce.” Dai Seyang is taken aback but eventually nods. Little did they know that on the day they were supposed to sign the divorce papers, Zhan Xingqiao got into an accident on set. When Dai Seyang rushes to the hospital, the usually distant and cold Zhan Xingqiao has bandages wrapped around his head and tears in his eyes as he sits on the hospital bed. “Husband, my reproductive organs are damaged. I can no longer have children.” Dai Seyang: “……?” * The cold and strong Zhan Xingqiao suddenly becomes a soft and weak “omega”. He smiles bitterly, “I’m no longer an S-rank omega. I also have a lifelong imbalance in pheromone regulation and need an alpha to comfort me at all times… Do you still want me?” Wait, there’s such a good deal! Dai Seyang: Although I don’t know what ABO is, from now on, I will be his alpha! Since then, whenever Zhan Xingqiao rubs his temples… Dai Seyang: Did Xingxing’s pheromones become imbalanced? A mutual chase, a mutual hidden love. Recommended for: 1. The age difference between the seme and uke is six years. 2. Not an ABO story, the uke just thinks he’s an Omega. 3. Not a story about having children. 4. Slight difference in body size, with the seme being taller and bigger.
