"Still Saving The World Today (Switching Worlds)" is a completed original web novel that I decided to pick up after seeing it pop up a few times. The premise seemed interesting and I was in the mood for something light and comedic, and this novel mostly delivered.
First Impressions
The initial chapters grabbed my attention with the MC's shameless personality and the fun dynamic between him and his system. I found myself chuckling at their interactions, and the translation quality was good enough to keep me engaged. The premise of a quick transmigration story with a possessive ML also appealed to my personal tastes.
What Works Well
The MC is definitely the highlight of this story. His personality is consistently entertaining, and his shamelessness is genuinely funny. I also enjoyed the initial arcs, finding them interesting and well-paced. The dynamic between the MC and the system, particularly as the MC "corrupts" the initially innocent system, provided a lot of comedic relief. The possessive nature of the ML in the early arcs was also well-executed, adding a layer of tension and excitement to the story.

I understand the author's intention in showing a healthier relationship dynamic, but the transition felt a little too sudden. Additionally, the plot surrounding the ML's reincarnation and missions felt somewhat forced and could have been fleshed out more.
