My Thoughts on Soft and Sweet Evil
First Impressions
"Soft and Sweet Evil" initially threw me for a loop, and I can see why some readers get a Chinese novel vibe from the summary. There's a certain grandeur and scope hinted at, mixed with a modern-day reincarnation plot that definitely piqued my interest. The tags alone—action, adventure, drama, romance, yuri, fast learner, fat to fit, fearless protagonist, female protagonist, modern day, revenge—promise a wild ride. I dove in hoping for a unique blend of genres and tropes, and I wasn't entirely disappointed.
