My Thoughts on My Mr.Mermaid
"My Mr. Mermaid" promised a light and fluffy romance, and for the most part, it delivered. As someone who enjoys a feel-good story, I dove in hoping for a sweet escape, and I wasn't entirely disappointed. It's definitely a novel that knows its audience and caters to those craving a cute and heartwarming read.
First Impressions
The initial chapters drew me in with the promise of a charming story between a determined reporter and a talented swimmer. The setup is fairly straightforward: Yun Duo, our female lead, finds herself covering the national swimming competition where she meets Tang Yi Bai, the male lead. It definitely leans into familiar tropes, but sometimes that's exactly what I'm looking for!

What I found most enjoyable was the slow-burn romance between Yun Duo and Tang Yi Bai. The author takes their time building their relationship, allowing their connection to feel more genuine.
