This web novel, "My Enemy is Actually Secretly in Love with Me," definitely delivered on the fluff and sweetness it promised. While it's a quick read, clocking in at only a few chapters, it left me with a warm, fuzzy feeling, even if I also felt like I wanted more.

The premise is instantly appealing: a hot-headed MC convinced his rival is just that – a rival – while the "enemy" is secretly head-over-heels. It's a classic trope, but with a shounen ai twist that made me immediately curious. The first chapter, in particular, had me laughing out loud. The sheer adorableness is the story's strongest point. The dynamic between the characters is engaging, with the MC's denseness creating plenty of humorous misunderstandings. The climax arrives quickly, but the resolution feels almost nonexistent. I was left wanting to see more of the MC's feelings develop and more scenes of them actually getting along. The ending, while happy, felt abrupt and unsatisfying, like a summary rather than a fully realized conclusion. Because of the short chapter count, some elements felt underdeveloped, and the writing could be a bit childish at times.
