"Escaped Wife of a Tyrant CEO" is a web novel that certainly left an impression. It's a wild ride, full of intense emotions and morally gray characters. It's not a light read, and it definitely requires a certain tolerance for dark themes, but I can also see why some readers found it compelling.
First Impressions
Initially, I was taken aback by the male lead's behavior. He's controlling, obsessive, and, frankly, terrifying. The story throws you right into the deep end with the female lead's desperate attempts to escape his clutches. It's a chaotic start, and I could see why some readers dropped it early on, finding the initial chapters disturbing.
