My Thoughts on The Story of a Man Who Is Reincarnated as the Shi*tiest Guy in a Doujin, but the Heroine Keeps on Coming Close to Him
Honestly, that title is a mouthful, but it definitely grabbed my attention! I went in expecting something… well, sh*tty, given the premise. What I found was a surprisingly enjoyable, if not groundbreaking, read.
First Impressions
The setup is classic isekai fare: guy gets reincarnated into a world he knows from a, shall we say, specific type of manga. The twist? He's the villainous NTR protagonist. The initial hook is strong, and I was curious to see how the story would subvert or embrace those tropes.
What Works Well
The biggest surprise for me was how wholesome the story turned out to be. Despite the initial premise, it largely avoids actual NTR. The relationships that develop often feel genuine, even if they happen quickly. The MC, while retaining some of his original "charming delinquent" traits, undergoes noticeable character development. He's not a saint, but he tries to be better, which is relatable. I appreciated that the story delves into his past and explores the reasons behind his initial behavior. The female lead is also a strong point. She's open about her feelings and actively pursues the MC, which is a refreshing change from the typical tsundere archetype. The author creates a fun dynamic with her masochistic tendencies, adding an unexpected layer to their relationship.

- The heroine sleeping with the MC's mother gets accepted way too easily.
