My Thoughts on Mr. CEO, Spoil me 100 Percent!
"Mr. CEO, Spoil me 100 Percent!" is quite the rollercoaster, and honestly, my feelings are mixed. It’s a story that grabs you with its initial premise but then… well, it takes some unexpected turns. It’s definitely a unique reading experience, to say the least.
First Impressions
The beginning is undeniably addictive. We're thrown into the life of a woman who's lost her memory, been through a forced marriage, and given birth to a son. Then, bam, another accident restores her memories, revealing a computer science genius ready to reclaim her life. The early chapters are filled with drama, revenge, and a touch of romance, making it hard to put down. I was immediately hooked by the mystery surrounding her past and the potential for a satisfying comeback.
What Works Well
The initial focus on family and revenge is compelling. The female lead's transformation from a vulnerable amnesiac to a confident, cunning protagonist is well-executed. Her intelligence and determination to protect her son are admirable. I also appreciated the supportive relationships she has with her cousin and uncle, providing a much-needed dose of warmth amidst the scheming. For a while, the "face-slapping" of her enemies is quite satisfying, and the pace keeps you engaged.
Areas of Concern
However, things get a little… chaotic later on. The story seems to suffer from a severe case of genre-hopping. What starts as a contemporary romance with elements of corporate drama quickly veers into sci-fi territory, complete with world domination plots and trips to the moon. This sudden shift can feel jarring and disconnect you from the original story.
The romance also takes a backseat as the plot becomes increasingly focused on science fiction elements. The male lead's character development can feel rushed and inconsistent, going from an "ice-cold statue" to a lovesick puppy seemingly overnight. And while the son is initially a driving force for the MC, he becomes less and less relevant as the story progresses.

If you're looking for a straightforward romance, this might not be the novel for you. However, if you're willing to embrace the chaos and enjoy a wild ride, it might be worth a try.
