My Thoughts on How Dare You Attack My Support!
Okay, so I dove into "How Dare You Attack My Support!" with some pretty high hopes, and overall, I found it to be an enjoyable read, though not without a few hiccups along the way. As a fan of both romance and e-sports, the premise immediately grabbed my attention.
First Impressions
The initial chapters were definitely lighthearted and drew me in. For someone familiar with League of Legends, like myself, the descriptions of the game mechanics and strategies are pretty engaging. However, I can see how readers who aren't familiar with LoL might find the beginning a bit confusing, and the translator might need to add some extra notes for them.
What Works Well
The core of this novel is the relationship between the MC and ML, and that's where it truly shines. I loved the slow-burn romance and how straightforward they were with each other. The interactions between the MC and ML are sweet, caring, and really show their growing affection. The story focuses on the characters and plot, which is a nice change of pace. I appreciated the "slice of life" aspect of the story and the fact that the MC is portrayed as a genuine person with both strengths and weaknesses. He's not overly perfect or annoying, just a well-rounded character.

While I enjoyed the romance, the initial setup with the ML having an unrequited love for another character did make me a little uncomfortable. I also felt like the MC's transition from straight to gay felt a little rushed. The timeline felt a bit confusing, and it felt like the MC wasn't allowed to develop naturally.
