My Thoughts on He Lifted My Red Veil
"He Lifted My Red Veil" promised a fluffy escape, and for the most part, it delivered. This novel blends comedy, romance, and school life within a VRMMORPG setting, and I found myself chuckling along with the MC's antics. It's a quick, easy read, perfect for when you want something light and entertaining.
First Impressions
The initial chapters were undeniably cute. The premise of an online blind date gone hilariously wrong immediately grabbed my attention, and the instant chemistry between the main characters, Le Han and Qi Xun, was undeniably charming. I was ready for a sugary-sweet ride. However, as the story progressed, I felt a shift in tone, with some unexpected drama entering the stage.

The MC, Le Han, is a definite highlight. I appreciated his resilience and how he stood up for himself, even after experiencing bullying.
