The premise itself grabbed me, and I was eager to see how the author would handle such a dark and potentially controversial subject matter. Overall, I found it a compelling, albeit flawed, read.

Right from the start, the eerie atmosphere is palpable. The story wastes no time throwing you into the MC's increasingly unsettling situation. I immediately felt a sense of foreboding, watching him walk headfirst into a situation that screamed danger. The writing style is effective in conveying this sense of unease, making you question every character and every seemingly innocent gesture.
