"Drop!! ～A Tale of the Fragrance Princess～" initially charmed me with its promise of a cute, shoujo-esque isekai story. The premise – a reincarnated noble villainess determined to avoid her doom by focusing on perfume and cosmetics – is certainly intriguing. I was ready for a lighthearted read filled with fluffy romance and delightful crafting details. And while parts of it delivered, my overall experience was a bit more mixed.
What Works Well
Cordelia, the main character, is a definite highlight. I found her dedication to learning and developing her skills genuinely engaging.
