"Crossing the Crowd to Chase Love" promised a steamy reverse harem in an intriguing matriarchal society. As I delved into it, I found a mix of elements that both captivated and disappointed me. While the premise is certainly unique, the execution left me with mixed feelings.
First Impressions
The initial chapters grabbed my attention with their unapologetic focus on the R-18 content and the world where women held significant power. The idea of a society where women were encouraged to have multiple husbands for the sake of childbirth was certainly a novel concept. I was curious to see how the protagonist, a modern woman transported into this world, would navigate this new reality.
What Works Well
