This novel blends xuanhuan elements with a modern slice-of-life setting, creating a truly unique and entertaining experience. The premise is simple: a powerful dragon loses his abilities and finds himself in the human world, having to navigate the challenges of modern life, like writing a thesis! This fish-out-of-water scenario immediately hooked me, and the blend of fantasy with everyday struggles felt fresh and humorous. The story quickly establishes a central mystery regarding the MC's attack and loss of power.
What Works Well
The comedy is definitely a strong point. The protagonist's antics and his exasperation with the mundane aspects of human society are consistently amusing.
