Who it's for, and whether it holds up.
This novel has a clear purpose and pursues it without apology. It's adult fantasy focused on ecchi and smut content, and anyone coming in expecting otherwise has misread the description.
What's actually interesting about the structure is the alternative endings after each chapter, which explore different scenarios including darker ones. It's an unusual format that gives the story more texture than a straight-line narrative would, and there's at least some attempt to connect the explicit content to Makina's ongoing journey rather than presenting it as entirely disconnected scenes.
The core problem is that the main plot, Makina's mission to find the black-robed man and restore her kingdom, gradually loses coherence as the story continues. The central quest doesn't reach a satisfying conclusion, and readers who care about narrative resolution will find that frustrating. The adult content is detailed and will work for its intended audience; the plot scaffolding around it is less reliable.
At 3.5 this is exactly what it looks like: a niche title that delivers what its audience wants in terms of content while leaving narrative threads unresolved. The alternative ending format is the most interesting creative choice here. For readers whose priority is the explicit content with a fantasy setting, it's serviceable. For anyone else, the incomplete main plot is a real drawback.
