My Thoughts on Tender
"Tender" promised a sweet slice-of-life romance with character growth, and for the most part, it delivered. I found myself drawn into the story of Huo Yan, a young woman navigating college and her relationship with a devoted, though perhaps subtly manipulative, love interest. The journey of self-discovery was the real highlight for me.
First Impressions
Initially, I was intrigued by the synopsis and the promise of a naive protagonist blossoming into a confident young woman. The "black belly" tag on the male lead also piqued my interest, hinting at some interesting dynamics.
