My Thoughts on The Sabbath
"The Sabbath" is a unique blend of adventure, fantasy, romance, and sci-fi that really captured my attention. The story follows Xiao Mei and A Gui, two characters thrown together in a futuristic world, and their journey of self-discovery and connection. I found myself completely drawn into their world, eager to see what challenges they would face next.
First Impressions
From the very beginning, I was struck by the author's imaginative world-building. The premise of androids and cryostasis immediately sets the stage for a compelling story. I also appreciated the light and humorous tone, especially considering some of the darker themes explored later on. It's a delicate balance that the author manages to pull off quite well.
