Description

At the age of 18, Lu Yining was a short haired pretty girl who loves to smile who entered the university for the first time. At that time, the daughter of the Lu family skipped all the elective courses she could and followed Tang Mubai to the boring medical course without fail. At the age of twenty-five, Lu Yining graduated from a top-notch leading school and made a successful career in the foreign photography community. Her social circle remained the same for ten years but Tang Mubai is the only one who she avoids . In a few years, rumors about Tang Mubai spread all the country –a womanizer who became famous in the medical field at the age of 26. After a few years, Lu Yining went to the hospital to find out for a friend who was in love in with a gynecologist : “Doctor, I have been having irregular menstruation, acidity, lethargy, drowsiness and nausea. Is there something wrong?” The doctor looked up from the thick mass of cases, revealing a familiar and good-looking face, his eyes gloomy and dangerous: “What?” Lu Yining unfortunately fell off from the chair on the first reunion after a long time.

Yishi Yijia Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator

## My Thoughts on Yishi Yijia "Yishi Yijia" promised a sweet romance, and for the most part, it delivered. It's definitely a novel centered around the female lead, and I found myself invested in her journey. I wouldn't call it a rollercoaster of emotions, but it's a pleasant read if you're looking for something relatively low-stakes. ### First Impressions Initially, I was drawn in by the premise of a modern romance with a proactive female lead. It's refreshing to see a character who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to go after it. The first part of the story had me hooked, eager to see how their relationship would unfold. ### What Works Well The novel shines in its portrayal of the female lead's perspective. It's easy to root for her, and I appreciated that the story remained focused on her experiences. The absence of major drama or third-party interference allowed the core relationship to take center stage, which was a welcome change of pace. There is something refreshing about a story that focuses on the internal dynamics of a relationship without relying on external conflicts for drama. ### Areas of Concern While the initial dynamic was compelling, I did find myself wishing for more reciprocity from the male lead early on. He seemed a bit too passive, leaving the female lead to carry much of the emotional weight. While he does eventually redeem himself, the imbalance in the beginning was noticeable. Additionally, the ending felt a tad abrupt. I would have loved to see a few more chapters dedicated to their life together after they reconciled, perhaps exploring their married life. ### ⚠️ Spoiler Warning Okay, let's talk about the breakup. I can understand why the female lead chose to end things initially. The male lead's passivity was definitely a valid reason for her to feel unfulfilled. However, I do agree that a more thorough explanation of her reasons for breaking up and any potential misunderstandings would have added more depth to the story. ### Final Verdict Overall, "Yishi Yijia" is a decent read if you're in the mood for a light-hearted romance with a strong female lead. While it has some minor flaws, the lack of intense drama and focus on the characters' internal dynamics make it an enjoyable experience. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a sweet, uncomplicated love story.
