Who Stole My Eggs? Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator

## My Thoughts on Who Stole My Eggs? "Who Stole My Eggs?" certainly boasts a title that grabs your attention, promising a whimsical adventure. However, going in, I was immediately curious about the actual presence of the eggs, given some early reader reactions. This novel is quite a ride, blending xianxia, comedy, drama, and romance into a unique package. ### First Impressions I dove into this novel expecting a central plot revolving around, well, stolen eggs. It seems the titular eggs take a backseat for a good portion of the story, making their grand appearance much later. This initially felt a bit misleading, but I quickly found myself engrossed in the unfolding narrative regardless. I found the early arcs to be a little unfocused, but not in a way that ruined my enjoyment. ### What Works Well The relationship between the MC and ML is undeniably the heart of this story. Watching their bond evolve through various trials and tribulations is genuinely satisfying. The author does a great job of creating a "bickering couple" dynamic that's both humorous and heartwarming. Beyond the central romance, the side characters add a lot to the overall experience. I especially enjoyed the found family aspects and the comedic relief provided by the side pairings. I think the author does a good job of keeping the tone relatively lighthearted, even amidst heavier plot points, making it an easy and enjoyable read. ### Areas of Concern While I enjoyed the overall experience, I can see where some readers might find the plot a bit meandering at times. The focus definitely leans more towards character development and relationship dynamics than a tightly woven plot. Also, I can see where some might find the MC, Xie Zao, a bit frustrating at times due to his, at times, oblivious nature. ### ⚠️ Spoiler Warning Some readers have pointed out potential spoilers regarding the character Tiandi and his relationship with both the MC and ML. If you're sensitive to spoilers, proceed with caution past chapter 100. ### Final Verdict Despite a somewhat misleading title and a plot that occasionally meanders, "Who Stole My Eggs?" is a surprisingly enjoyable read. The strong character development, engaging romance, and unique blend of genres create a truly memorable experience. If you're looking for a lighthearted xianxia with a focus on relationships, I'd recommend giving this one a try. While it might not be a masterpiece, it's a fun and engaging novel that will keep you entertained.
