Description

The long war for supremacy between two neighboring nations came to an end. For this reason, Raiz, the strongest tamer ever seen, was facing a difficult problem. How could the multitude of monsters called to arms survive without work to sustain them? Worried, he decided to open a “shop” to find jobs for his comrades. “Right! Let’s start our own guild!” Even though at first people were afraid, seeing the monsters working so hard for their sake made them change their mind and after forgiving those creatures, the guild started receiving quite the number of requests. “Nice, if we put our heart and soul in working we’ll make a fortune!” That’s how the strongest tamer started a family business (with a ranch).

Welcome to the Monsters’ Guild ~ The Strongest Group Who Did Everything, for a Price ~ Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator

## My Thoughts on Welcome to the Monsters’ Guild ~ The Strongest Group Who Did Everything, for a Price ~ Alright, let's dive into "Welcome to the Monsters’ Guild ~ The Strongest Group Who Did Everything, for a Price ~". It's a mouthful, I know, but the premise definitely piqued my interest. The idea of a powerful tamer, essentially unemployed after a war, starting their own monster-powered business? Count me in! ### First Impressions Initially, I was drawn in by the setup. A renowned tamer and their collection of incredible beasts, including some mythical ones, suddenly finding themselves out of a job is an interesting starting point. The concept of them forming a guild to leverage their unique skills and connections felt like a solid foundation for an engaging story. ### What Works Well The protagonist's relationship with his tamed monsters really shines. He clearly views them as family and friends, which adds a layer of warmth to the narrative. This aspect, coupled with the protagonist's intelligence and strategic thinking, is something I found quite appealing. The world-building is also fairly detailed, which for some readers is a major plus. The author does a good job of establishing the power dynamics and the protagonist's reputation within the kingdom and beyond. It's clear he's a force to be reckoned with, and that anticipation kept me reading. ### Areas of Concern However, I have to admit the pacing and storytelling left me wanting more. While the initial idea is strong, the execution felt a bit… flat. There were moments where I felt like I was simply receiving information dumps about the world rather than experiencing a compelling narrative. The story would greatly benefit from more comedic moments and a more engaging plot development. ### Final Verdict Overall, "Welcome to the Monsters’ Guild" has potential. The unique premise of a powerful tamer starting a monster-powered business, coupled with the protagonist's strong relationships with his beasts, offers a solid foundation. However, the slow pacing and somewhat uninspired storytelling hold it back from reaching its full potential. If you're looking for a story with a unique premise and don't mind a slower burn, this might be worth a read. Otherwise, it may be best to wait for further development.
