Ultimate Intelligence Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator

## My Thoughts on Ultimate Intelligence After diving into "Ultimate Intelligence," I came out with some mixed feelings. It's a novel that definitely has its strengths, but also some noticeable weaknesses that kept me from fully enjoying the experience. It’s one of those stories that's easy to get into, but whether it can hold your attention in the long run is another question entirely. ### First Impressions Initially, the premise grabbed me. A protagonist with hidden depths navigating a world of action, school life, and supernatural elements? Sounds like a fun ride. The early chapters promised a blend of genres that could be truly engaging. There's a certain charm in seeing how the main character juggles his various roles and relationships. ### What Works Well The romance aspect seems to be a strong point. The female characters are reportedly well-developed, each with their own distinct personalities and motivations. This is a big plus for me, as it avoids the common pitfall of one-dimensional harem members. The author seems to put genuine effort into making each relationship feel meaningful, which is something I appreciate. I also like the MC's personality. ### Areas of Concern However, the novel seems to suffer from pacing issues. The story apparently becomes repetitive after a while, with the protagonist acquiring a new romantic interest every hundred chapters or so. While I don't inherently dislike harems, I can see how this could become tiresome and feel unnatural in a modern setting. I also noted that the protagonist's tendency to downplay his abilities can lead to frustrating situations, with conflicts arising simply because he doesn't present himself appropriately. This trope, while initially entertaining, seems to become overused, leading to predictable face-slapping scenarios. ### ⚠️ Spoiler Warning One of the biggest criticisms I noticed was the drawn-out revenge plot against the Du family. Apparently, it takes over 800 chapters for the protagonist to finally achieve his goal, which seems excessive. Readers found this particular storyline dragged on far too long. ### Final Verdict "Ultimate Intelligence" is a decent read if you're looking for something to pass the time. It has its moments of brilliance, particularly in the development of its female characters and the initial intrigue of its premise. However, the repetitive nature of the plot, the pacing issues, and the overused "low-key protagonist" trope ultimately detract from the overall experience. I'd recommend approaching this novel as a "junk food" read – enjoyable in the moment, but not something that will leave a lasting impression. I’d give it a tentative 3.5 out of 5 stars.
