This Is My Planet Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator

## My Thoughts on This Is My Planet Alright, buckle up, because I've just finished reading "This Is My Planet," and I'm ready to spill the tea. With its blend of action, comedy, fantasy, sci-fi, xuanhuan, and a hefty dose of harem elements, it's definitely a novel that throws a lot at the wall to see what sticks. And honestly? A fair bit of it does. ### First Impressions Initially, I was a little hesitant. Modern xianxia can be a bit of a minefield, often feeling immature or repetitive. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find "This Is My Planet" to be a pretty light and enjoyable read. The premise is intriguing: an overpowered protagonist, recovering from past battles, finds himself on a planet where his mere presence causes evolution. It's a fun setup that immediately grabbed my attention. ### What Works Well One of the strongest aspects of this novel is the protagonist. He's not your typical cultivation story hero grinding his way up from zero. Instead, he's already a top-tier being, which allows the story to explore different themes. I particularly enjoyed watching him grapple with his past and slowly change his views on cultivation and the world around him. The evolving relationship with the planet and its inhabitants, including the human descendants from Earth, was also a highlight. It's a refreshing take on the "heavenly dao" concept, showing a powerful being becoming more open-minded and connected. The humor is also a plus, preventing the story from taking itself too seriously. ### Areas of Concern While I found the story enjoyable, it didn't quite reach the heights of the author's previous works, at least for me. The pacing can feel a bit uneven at times, and the harem elements, while present, might not appeal to everyone. ### Final Verdict Overall, "This Is My Planet" is a worthwhile read, especially if you're a fan of the genre. It's a fun, lighthearted story with an interesting premise and a protagonist who defies typical xianxia tropes. While it might not be a masterpiece, it's definitely a step above the average modern xianxia novel. I'd give it a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars. If you're looking for something different in the cultivation genre, give this one a shot.
