Description

The protagonist was named Yoshiyuki by his parents, in hope that he would become a man of good conduct and he also worked hard to live up to that name. However, reality didn’t seem to be kind to good people. In his sophomore year of high school, Yoshiyuki was falsely accused of a certain crime and began to be bullied. He moved to the countryside where his grandfather lived and has been living a life of a dejected loser ever since. Time passed, and as an adult I took over my grandfather’s pharmacy and lived a humble life. Unfortunately, the shop was short of staff and I had no choice but to hire new employees. But then, the former class president of my class came to me, Miyano Yuuka. For the time being, Miyano was unaware of my true identity and I felt that this was a lifetime opportunity. Yoshiyuki decided to take this opportunity to take revenge on her. However, as he gets further involved with Miyano, the truth about the incident that he did not know was revealed. Miyano apologised to Yoshiyuki and wanted to work at his place with her sister. Yoshiyuki forgave her and their new life together began.

The Woman Who Bullied Me Came to Me for a Job Interview, Can I Do What I Want Now? Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator

## My Thoughts on The Woman Who Bullied Me Came to Me for a Job Interview, Can I Do What I Want Now? This title grabbed me immediately. The premise is just too juicy to ignore: what happens when the person who made your life miserable suddenly needs *you*? I dove in expecting a rollercoaster of revenge, but what I found was… something else entirely. ### First Impressions Initially, I was hooked. The setup is fantastic, and I was eager to see how the protagonist would handle this unexpected power dynamic. The blend of adult themes, comedy, and romance promised a potentially wild ride. Plus, the “slice of life” tag suggested a grounded narrative, which piqued my interest. ### What Works Well One of the strongest aspects is the way the author handles the past. Bullying can be a difficult subject to tackle sensitively, but the novel does a commendable job of exploring the misunderstandings that fueled the conflict between the main characters. It doesn't excuse the bullying, but it provides context, which I appreciated. I also found the "heartwarming" tag to be accurate. The story isn't just about revenge; it's about growth, forgiveness, and second chances. The relationship between the MC and the FL evolves in a surprisingly wholesome way, and I was genuinely rooting for them by the end. The interactions between the characters felt realistic, even with the somewhat absurd initial premise. The presence of younger sisters also adds a nice familial touch. ### Areas of Concern While I enjoyed the overall story, I did feel like some aspects could have been explored more deeply. The pacing felt a little rushed at times, and I wished there was more development of the characters involved. ### Final Verdict "The Woman Who Bullied Me Came to Me for a Job Interview, Can I Do What I Want Now?" is a surprisingly heartwarming and entertaining read. It's a quick and engaging story that explores themes of forgiveness, growth, and second chances. If you're looking for a lighthearted novel with a unique premise and a satisfying resolution, I recommend giving this one a shot.
