When he sets his mind on something, he will stubbornly continue on that path and it is what keeps him going throughout the novel. I found myself completely engrossed in Ji Ling's journey. The pacing felt right, allowing me to enjoy the dogblood moments and action. Ji Ling wasn't just a silly MC; he relied on quick thinking to navigate the plot, especially with a mostly absent system. The author did a great job of fleshing out each harem member's emotional development, which made it easy to see how each of them could have become the main love interest. ### Areas of Concern I can understand why some readers found the initial premise and the reasons for the love interests' obsession a bit weak. The early parts, where the MC had to navigate aggressive advances from the reborn characters, did get repetitive and drawn out.
