Description

Shun Tachibana, a math teacher and enthusiast, was someone who prided himself on being perfectly on the straight and narrow. Until one day, he awakened in a fantasy, otome game. However, the heroine did not appear, and for some reason, Shun is repeatedly treated to kabedons and spell-like, pick up lines from the princes instead. What’s more; he doesn’t even have a cheat skill, one of the most important things for reincarnating in another world! He then visits Craig, a former prince, for the sake of his survival, but it turns out Craig is a wolf. On a certain full moon night, Shun is attacked by him while he is in his estrous phase. After finding out about Craig’s situation, Shun offered to continue to “help” Craig through his estrous cycles.

The Prince I Met in Another World is a Wolf Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator

## My Thoughts on The Prince I Met in Another World is a Wolf "The Prince I Met in Another World is a Wolf" promised a blend of fantasy, romance, and a dash of the unexpected, and so far, it's mostly delivered. I jumped into this novel expecting some laughs, some heat, and a decent plot, and I wasn't disappointed. ### First Impressions The premise itself is intriguing: an average guy, thrust into a world reminiscent of an otome game, where he has to navigate not only a new environment but also the attentions of a very handsome, and somewhat beastly, prince. The initial chapters hooked me with the humor arising from the MC's awkwardness and his attempts to make sense of this new reality. ### What Works Well The comedic elements are a definite highlight. The misunderstandings that arise from the MC's density are genuinely funny, not forced or contrived. It's clear the author has a good grasp on comedic timing. The romance, especially the intimate scenes, are handled with care and are quite passionate. The ML is indeed swoon-worthy, and the chemistry between him and the MC is palpable. I also appreciate that the MC isn't an overpowered character. He has to rely on his wits and his unique skills, like his mathematical abilities, to survive and thrive. This makes him relatable and his struggles more engaging. The world-building is nicely done, with a European-inspired setting that feels both familiar and fantastical. ### Areas of Concern While I'm enjoying the story, I do feel that the plot progresses somewhat slowly. I am hoping to see more depth in the character development. I'm particularly interested in exploring the MC's background and his life as a prince in more detail. I am eager to delve deeper into the political intrigue that seems to be brewing on the horizon. ### Final Verdict Overall, "The Prince I Met in Another World is a Wolf" is a fun and engaging read. It successfully blends comedy, romance, and fantasy into a compelling narrative. While there's room for improvement in terms of plot pacing and character development, the strengths of the story outweigh its weaknesses. If you're looking for a lighthearted, steamy, and entertaining yaoi novel, this one is definitely worth checking out.
