The Incubus King of Holy Sword Academy Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator

## My Thoughts on The Incubus King of Holy Sword Academy Alright, let's dive into "The Incubus King of Holy Sword Academy." This one's been on my radar, and after digging into what readers are saying, I've got some thoughts. ### First Impressions The premise is definitely intriguing. We've got an MC who's the son of the Incubus King, essentially the last of his kind, thrust into the very human and very *holy* environment of a sword academy. The initial setup, with the loss of his territory and forced enrollment, screams potential for some serious conflict and character development. I was immediately curious to see how this demon would navigate such a contrasting world. ### What Works Well There's a lot to appreciate here. The magic system seems well-thought-out, which is always a huge plus for me in fantasy novels. I enjoy a story that invests in its world, and it sounds like the author has put in the work to make the magic feel real and engaging. The fight scenes are also getting praise for being well-described, so that's another box ticked. It seems the author is trying to make the MC's demon heritage more than just a label, with the smell and taste fetish. ### Areas of Concern Okay, let's address the elephant in the room – or rather, the *smell* in the room. It seems like the author has a very... specific fetish, and it's heavily integrated into the MC's character. While some might find it interesting or even amusing, others might find it off-putting and distracting. I can see how that could potentially detract from the overall enjoyment of the story. I can definitely see it being a deal-breaker for some readers. I'm also slightly concerned about the meandering plot, but it's still early days, so I'm willing to give it time to find its focus. ### ⚠️ Spoiler Warning Alright, heads up! There's a potential spoiler ahead regarding the first chapter. Apparently, the MC has to laugh at the circumstances surrounding his father's death. It is said to be a darkly comedic take on corruption. ### Final Verdict "The Incubus King of Holy Sword Academy" is a bit of a mixed bag, but it has a lot of potential. The premise is solid, the magic system is interesting, and the fight scenes are well-written. However, the author's particular fetish might be a turn-off for some readers, and the plot could use a bit more focus. Overall, I'd say it's worth checking out if you're into mature fantasy with a unique protagonist, but be aware of the potential downsides before you dive in. I'm giving it a tentative 3.5/5 – I'll be keeping an eye on it to see how it develops.
