The Exorcist Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator

## My Thoughts on The Exorcist "The Exorcist" promised a blend of genres that really piqued my interest: action, horror, romance, and the supernatural, all wrapped up with a strong female lead. With a solid overall rating, I dove in hoping for a thrilling read. ### First Impressions The initial chapters definitely hooked me with the mystery surrounding both the main characters. We have a lawyer FL and a ghost-seeing ML. The premise of a lawyer getting entangled with the supernatural through a ghost-seeing male lead is definitely intriguing. The first arc is focused on the MC-ML relationship and how they solve cases together. ### What Works Well I really enjoyed the dynamic between the leads. It seems like they have great banter and a sort of reluctant partnership that develops over time. The tension and excitement were well-placed, creating moments that genuinely gave me chills. The author seems to have crafted a world where the supernatural feels both present and dangerous, which is a huge plus for me in a horror-tinged story. I also like the idea of the ML having powers that he doesn't want to use but is forced to because of the FL. ### Areas of Concern While I enjoyed the premise, I can see how some readers might find the female lead a bit… much. There's a sense that she can be overly involved and perhaps a bit immature for her profession, which is a valid concern. Her strong sense of justice, while admirable, could potentially lead her to make rash decisions that put herself and others in danger. The FL seems to be of the "high on justice" type that can rub some readers the wrong way. ### Final Verdict Overall, "The Exorcist" seems like a promising read for those who enjoy a blend of supernatural mystery, romance, and a touch of horror. While the female lead's character might not appeal to everyone, the engaging plot and the dynamic between the leads are strong enough to keep me invested. I'm willing to overlook some flaws for the sake of a good story, and "The Exorcist" definitely has the potential to deliver.
