Description

This novel is a diary of how childish and immature man pursuing wife. The day of turning eighteen years old, Lu Xing Yan and Chen Xing Ruo celebrate their birthday together. The next day they would have their examination. At night, Chen Xing Ruo stays up late to give extra lessons for Lu Xing Yan. Lu Xing Yan plays with his pen sloppily. “Hey.” He asks: “Before what wish you made? You made a wish for three minutes. Tell me, maybe I could help you to achieve it.” Chen Xing Ruo doesn’t look at him and underlines the main point: “I made a wish that this semester Lu Xing Yan could solve a mathematics book, five books of intensive practice, ten sets of real exam papers, memorize four levels of words, the final exam can be up to four hundred points, do not do any ‘rat shit’ that lowers the average of the class.” The rat turns silent for three seconds: “Forget it, I didn’t say anything.”

Strawberry Kiss Mark Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator

## My Thoughts on Strawberry Kiss Mark "Strawberry Kiss Mark" promised a fluffy, lighthearted romance, and I have to say, it largely delivered! This campus story, dipping its toes into both high school and college life, was a delightful escape. ### First Impressions From the get-go, I was charmed by the premise: a cold, tsundere female lead and a spoiled, but secretly hardworking, male lead. This role reversal from the typical CEO/naïve girl dynamic was refreshing. I was immediately invested in seeing how their relationship would unfold. ### What Works Well The comedy is definitely a strong point. I found myself genuinely laughing out loud at the interactions between the leads. Their banter is witty, and the situations they find themselves in are often hilarious. I also appreciated how the author handled conflict. Problems weren't dragged out unnecessarily; they were resolved relatively quickly, keeping the story moving at a good pace. The character development, especially in the male lead as he grows more responsible and the female lead as she becomes more emotionally open, felt earned and realistic. I particularly enjoyed how the male lead isn't just relying on his looks and background, but actively working to better himself and earn his place beside the female lead. The female lead's chill and sometimes savage personality made her super relatable, and her efforts to understand and compromise with the male lead added depth to their relationship. Even the villains had understandable motivations, and some even had the chance for redemption, which is a nice touch. ### ⚠️ Spoiler Warning Okay, jumping into spoiler territory for a moment! I really loved the part where the female lead realizes she can't always "correct" the male lead's actions. This moment of self-reflection and the subsequent realization that she loves him for who he is, flaws and all, was incredibly sweet and a turning point in their relationship. ### Final Verdict Overall, "Strawberry Kiss Mark" is a thoroughly enjoyable read. If you're looking for a fluffy, comedic romance with realistic characters and a satisfying resolution, I highly recommend giving this novel a try. It's a delightful escape that will leave you with a smile on your face.
