Description

Bailuo, our main character, has just gained a cheat system, an NPC who can help Bailuo navigate easily through any life he is presented with, gaining favorability points with minimal effort. Bailuo can then exchange those favorability points for anything he wants. The trusted personal assistant who betrayed him and attacked him for the sake of his younger brother; the emperor who used him as a weapon to charm and seduce his prince brother in order to seize the throne; the admirer of his younger brother who used him as a substitute… Bailuo: I’ll just watch this show go down. Don’t even need to say a word. Sneakpeaks:In the first arc, Bailuo is a cannon fodder ends up with all the s*umbags. All the characters act very ab*sively, like a stepmother. Readers who like sweet pampering should start reading from arc two. The second arc is Bailuo’s comeback arc, with the same setting as the first arc but with Bailuo falling in love with the real male lead this time. He also goes around returning the ab*ses of some of those s*umbags as well. As for the third arc, well, the title will be self explanatory. Just wait and see…

Raider System Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator

## My Thoughts on Raider System "Raider System" is a novel that took me on a rollercoaster. I went in expecting a fairly simple read, but what I got was something far more complex and, ultimately, quite satisfying. It's not without its flaws, but the payoff in the later arcs made the initial confusion worthwhile for me. ### First Impressions Initially, I have to admit I was lost. The first few arcs threw me right into the thick of things without much explanation. It felt like I was missing crucial context. I found myself struggling to connect with the protagonist, who seemed detached and emotionally unavailable. I was also confused by the volume organization, but it all made sense later on. ### What Works Well Despite my initial reservations, I grew to appreciate the novel's unique structure. The author's approach to relationships, particularly the "betrayal -> permanent rejection" theme, was refreshing. It's a welcome change from the usual forgiveness-and-reconciliation trope. I also liked that the system took a backseat, forcing the MC to figure things out independently. The MC's apparent emotional insensitivity in the earlier arcs is understandable, especially given his history with the ML. The plot is confusing at first, but every loose end is tied up by the end. ### Areas of Concern I have some concerns about the early arcs being difficult to understand and the MC's initial lack of emotional depth. Some readers might find the protagonist's coldness off-putting or the "whump" elements disturbing. ### ⚠️ Spoiler Warning Some reviews mentioned the first two worlds having a Bad Ending, and that the MC and ML already had a slow progress in love before the first volume starts. MC really loves ML a lot before volume 1 starts so actually his interest in the scums and him falling in love with ML on volume 1 and 2 makes sense. His memory is sealed so he feels like a cold character, so when he finds ML his feelings are still there. ### Final Verdict Overall, I found "Raider System" to be a worthwhile read. It requires patience and a willingness to push through the initial confusion, but the payoff is a well-developed plot and satisfying character arcs. If you're looking for a novel with a unique take on relationships and a protagonist who doesn't forgive easily, this might be for you.
