Description

The only thing scary about someone with hemophobia is a vampire with hemophobia. As a skilled Emergency Department doctor, Doctor Shang meets a series of abnormal non-human races such as a werewolf with pet allergies, an elf who sings out of tune, a highly myopic celestial master, an incubus who doesn’t like girls, a baby dragon who is afraid of heights, and a vampire with hemophobia. He opens the door to a new world, heals and saves people, subdues demons, eliminates devils, and every day his only goal is to get his boyfriend to drink blood. To help his domestic vampire overcome hemophobia, Doctor Shang has thought of many ways: bottles, blindfolds, handcuffs, and food coloring. Unfortunately, none of these solutions worked. So – in the end, Doctor Shang could only chase after his vampire, bitterly rolling up his sleeves at him, “Try biting me one more time! Just one bite!

My Vampire Faints at Blood Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator

## My Thoughts on My Vampire Faints at Blood "My Vampire Faints at Blood" promised a lighthearted supernatural romance, and for the most part, it delivered. It's a story that doesn't take itself too seriously, and I found myself chuckling at the absurdity of it all. However, it's not without its flaws, and some aspects left me a little bewildered. ### First Impressions The premise is undeniably quirky. A doctor protagonist surrounded by supernatural beings, including a vampire who, ironically, faints at the sight of blood? It definitely piqued my interest. The initial chapters introduce us to the calm and collected MC and the somewhat eccentric ML, and their dynamic is immediately engaging. I was ready for a fun ride. ### What Works Well The humor is a major draw. The interactions between the MC and ML are genuinely funny, with the ML's old-fashioned speech and stalker-ish tendencies providing plenty of comedic fodder. The MC's level-headedness serves as a perfect foil to the ML's dramatic antics. I also appreciated that the MC isn't your typical emotionless protagonist; he's intelligent, capable, and has a good sense of humor. The overall concept is unique, blending supernatural elements with a slice-of-life feel. It's the kind of story that's perfect for unwinding after a long day. ### Areas of Concern While the humor is a strength, the pacing and storytelling felt somewhat disjointed at times. There were moments where I struggled to follow the plot, and the transitions between scenes could be abrupt. It sometimes felt like information was being dumped on me without proper context, making it difficult to fully immerse myself in the story. This made it hard to fully connect with the characters, as the slapstick comedy tone made it difficult to take them seriously. ### Final Verdict "My Vampire Faints at Blood" is a fun and quirky novel that's perfect for readers looking for a lighthearted supernatural romance. The humor and unique premise are definitely its strongest points. However, the pacing issues and occasionally confusing storytelling might deter some readers. If you're willing to overlook these flaws and embrace the absurdity, you'll likely find this story to be an enjoyable and entertaining read. I'd give it a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars. It's a delightful cupcake of a story, just be prepared for a slightly bumpy ride.
