Description

At the age of ten, anyone would receive two skills from an entity called God. A girl who wants to be an adventurer, Reno, was given automatic attack evasion skill, [Dodge] and a skill to be able to put in and out items, [Storage] . Neither skill was suitable for battle, so she was living the gloomy days of being a luggage carrier without being an adventurer. However, wheel of fate turned heavily when she joined an Evil Dragon slaying party as a luggage carrier. Abandoned by the Hero in the deepest part of the dungeon where the dragon is hidden, Reno got the power to fight when she acquired a necklace which the strongest Dragon Slayer, Reina’s spirit sealed in. This is an epic of a girl who later would be called The Dragon-Killing Hero.

Luggage Carrier Who Abandoned by the Hero’s Party in the Dungeon’s Deepest Part, Being Possessed by the Strongest Dragon Slayer (Age of Death: 24) Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator

## My Thoughts on Luggage Carrier Who Abandoned by the Hero’s Party in the Dungeon’s Deepest Part, Being Possessed by the Strongest Dragon Slayer (Age of Death: 24) This title is quite the mouthful, isn't it? But beyond the length, "Luggage Carrier..." presents an interesting premise: a seemingly weak character gets a major power boost via possession and has to deal with the fallout. After diving in, I found it to be a mixed bag, with some genuinely exciting moments weighed down by a few shortcomings. ### First Impressions The initial chapters definitely set a somber tone. We're introduced to a protagonist who's down on her luck, a stark contrast to the power she eventually wields. I appreciated this grounding; it made her subsequent growth feel more earned, even if it was a bit of a sudden shift. The presence of a despicable character early on, one who abuses their power, immediately gave me someone to root against and heightened my anticipation for the MC's eventual rise. ### What Works Well The fight scenes are where this story truly shines. The author's descriptions are engaging, and I found myself easily swept up in the action. The concept of a 'weak to strong' protagonist is a classic for a reason, and the possession aspect adds a unique twist. It's satisfying to watch the MC overcome challenges, especially after her initial powerless state. Despite some issues, I found the story easy to follow, and its relatively short length (93 chapters) means it doesn't overstay its welcome. ### Areas of Concern While the action is a strong point, the character motivations and romance felt a bit underdeveloped. The driving force behind the dragon-slaying felt a bit generic. I also found the romance to be somewhat forced, lacking the depth and nuance that would make it truly compelling. Some characters also felt like they were missing something, and the villain's motivations were a little weak. ### ⚠️ Spoiler Warning There's a short-haired magician character who casts explosion magic. ### Final Verdict "Luggage Carrier..." is a decent read, especially if you're new to web novels or looking for something action-packed and relatively short. While the character development and romance could use some work, the engaging fight scenes and satisfying "weak to strong" progression make it an enjoyable experience overall. I'd recommend it with the caveat that it's not a masterpiece, but a fun and easy read.
