Description

Azusa Rokujou, having lost her parents in a car accident and taken in by relatives who treated her as a nuisance, closed off her heart after the incident. Once she became a high schooler, Azusa began living alone, without any financial support, and Azusa, who thought that she wouldn’t be able to live solely on her part-time salary, decided to sell her body in desperation, then entered the red-light district. Then, before she knew it, she was sleeping with an unknown woman, naked. The woman, Reika Asahina, is the CEO of a super major company, and is a pe*vert with lesbian tendencies— 「If you’re going to sell yourself to some suspicious man, then I’ll buy your everything.」 「…Hah?」 Reika tries to dearly love Azusa, who became unable to trust anyone else, and close their distance. Thus begins their abnormal cohabiting life.

JK wa Onna Shachou ni Hirowaremashita Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator

## My Thoughts on JK wa Onna Shachou ni Hirowaremashita "JK wa Onna Shachou ni Hirowaremashita" (The High School Girl Was Picked Up By a Female President) is a completed web novel that I recently dove into, and I came out with mixed feelings. It's definitely a fluffy, feel-good story at its core, but it has a few quirks that might not appeal to everyone. ### First Impressions My initial impression was that this story had a "forced proximity" vibe from the get-go. The premise, involving a high school girl and a female company president living together, immediately sets the stage for potential misunderstandings and slow-burn romance. It felt a bit like a lighter, more innocent take on some familiar tropes. ### What Works Well The comedic elements definitely shine. The misunderstandings that arise from their cohabitation situation are played for laughs, and I found myself chuckling at their awkward interactions. The slow-burn romance is also a strong point. The author takes their time developing the relationship between the JK and the president, which allows for a more believable and heartwarming connection. The "older love interest falls in love first" trope is also well-executed, adding a layer of sweetness to the dynamic. The slice-of-life aspects are also enjoyable, offering glimpses into their daily routines and personal growth. ### Areas of Concern While the story is generally lighthearted, I did feel that it lacked a certain depth. The plot felt somewhat superficial at times, and I wished for a bit more substance beneath the fluffy exterior. It leans heavily into the "not too deep" category, which might disappoint readers looking for complex character development or intricate plotlines. ### Final Verdict Overall, "JK wa Onna Shachou ni Hirowaremashita" is an enjoyable read if you're in the mood for a lighthearted, comedic yuri romance. It's not groundbreaking, but it delivers on its promise of fluff and heartwarming moments. If you're looking for a quick and easy read with a focus on slow-burn romance and comedic misunderstandings, this might be right up your alley. However, if you prefer stories with more depth and complexity, you might find it a bit lacking. I would rate it a solid 3 out of 5 stars.
