Description

Shao Fei had transmigrated into a dog-blood novel, where he became the flirtatious vicious villain who had hooked up with men left and right. This male villain not only hooked up with the protagonist gong Huo JunTing, but had also hooked up with the protagonist shou’s other suitors all throughout. His only goal was to prevent the protagonist shou from obtaining happiness. Later on, the protagonist gong had immediately punished him, resulting with the male villain having a miserable end. In order to get rid of the original plot development and incurring the tragic end of the original owner, Shao Fei had resolutely chose to take the abstinent route. But unexpectedly, each and every one of the protagonist shou’s suitors had suddenly began to hit on him in reverse. Even Huo JunTing had developed an interest in him and would often tease him. To this, he could only solemnly say, “I’m really not good at that, I don’t make appointments, I really don’t.” Huo JunTing couldn’t help but force to take him home and warned him in his ear in a low voice, “Whether you’re good at it or not, you’ll have to try it to know.”

I’m Really Not a Skilled Flirt Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator

## My Thoughts on I’m Really Not a Skilled Flirt "I’m Really Not a Skilled Flirt" is a web novel that definitely sparked my curiosity. Diving in, I found a story with a lot of potential, but also some elements that might not appeal to every reader. It’s a blend of comedy, drama, romance, and shounen ai, set in the world of celebrities and arrogant characters. ### First Impressions Initially, I was drawn to the premise of a protagonist trying to navigate a world he doesn't understand. The idea of a "carefree protagonist" thrown into the chaotic life of celebrities sounded like a recipe for entertaining mishaps. However, I also felt a sense of unease, as if the story was moving too fast for its own good. ### What Works Well One of the strongest aspects is the slow-burn romance between the MC and ML. It's clear that the author takes their time developing the relationship, allowing them to genuinely get to know each other. The ML, despite his initial coldness, is portrayed as incredibly patient and respectful, which I appreciated. The novel also shines in its depiction of the ML's family dynamics, offering a glimpse into his complex background and the reasons behind his behavior. The MC's family also adds a heartwarming touch to the story, providing a sense of belonging and support. ### Areas of Concern While the slow-burn romance is a plus for some, the early chapters might be a turn-off for others. The MC faces a series of unfortunate events, including situations that could be interpreted as attempts of sexual assault, which might be triggering for some readers. Also, the MC's decision to sign with the ML's company, despite his initial reservations, felt rushed and a bit illogical. This could be a point of frustration for those who prefer a more consistent and strategic protagonist. ### ⚠️ Spoiler Warning Okay, let's address some of the spoiler-heavy points. The ML's initial actions, particularly getting the MC drunk and the circumstances surrounding that event, are definitely questionable. However, the story attempts to redeem him by showcasing his protective nature and the underlying reasons for his behavior, stemming from his upbringing. The MC's naivete and the situations he finds himself in can also be frustrating. ### Final Verdict Overall, "I’m Really Not a Skilled Flirt" is a mixed bag. It has moments of genuine charm and heartwarming romance, but it's also weighed down by questionable plot decisions and potentially triggering content. If you're looking for a fluffy, angst-free read with a patient ML and a developing romance, this might be worth a try. However, be prepared for some frustrating moments and a protagonist who might not always make the smartest choices. I'd say it's a solid 3.5/5.
