I Was Reincarnated as a Villainous Noble and I Want to Be Expelled, but the Yandere Princess Won’t Let It! Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator

## My Thoughts on I Was Reincarnated as a Villainous Noble and I Want to Be Expelled, but the Yandere Princess Won’t Let It! ### First Impressions The premise of "I Was Reincarnated as a Villainous Noble and I Want to Be Expelled, but the Yandere Princess Won’t Let It!" definitely grabbed my attention. The idea of a protagonist trying to escape a predetermined fate, only to be thwarted by an obsessive princess, has a certain appeal. However, diving into the available chapters, I quickly found myself facing the same concerns echoed by other readers. ### What Works Well Honestly, pinpointing what *truly* works well is a challenge. The core concept has potential, and the early chapters hint at a clever protagonist. I found the initial world-building intriguing, and the seeds of the central conflict – the MC's desire for expulsion versus the princess's yandere tendencies – are planted effectively. The early romance element is somewhat interesting, although it becomes a point of contention later. ### Areas of Concern My biggest issue, and one that seems to be a common complaint, is the questionable quality of the translation. It's frustrating when a potentially good story is marred by poor translation, making it difficult to fully immerse oneself in the narrative. Subject-verb disagreements and inconsistent name usage can really pull you out of the experience. Beyond the translation, the protagonist's actions and reactions also bothered me. His tendency to act impulsively, followed by a seemingly passive acceptance of events, felt inconsistent and, at times, infuriating. Several readers felt the same, finding his "uhu, okay" attitude to be a major flaw. The relationship between the MC and the princess is also a point of contention. The age gap and the princess's extreme actions at a young age are unsettling and make it difficult to invest in their romance. The princess's actions, such as crippling the MC, are not well-received. The lack of character development, poor setting, and nonsensical plot were also major concerns for many. ### ⚠️ Spoiler Warning Some readers have pointed out that the princess injures the MC, breaking his legs, because he said he saw her as a cute little sister. This, understandably, is a major turn-off for many. She also forces him to give up his dream and make war. ### Final Verdict While the initial concept of "I Was Reincarnated as a Villainous Noble and I Want to Be Expelled, but the Yandere Princess Won’t Let It!" held promise, the execution, at least in its current translated form, leaves much to be desired. The poor translation significantly hinders enjoyment, and the protagonist's inconsistent behavior and the problematic relationship dynamics make it difficult to recommend. Perhaps with a revised translation and a more consistent character portrayal, this story could reach its potential.
