She's described as having a "badass" attitude and high standards, which is always refreshing to see in a romance novel. The way she stands her ground, even against a persistent love interest, is admirable. Her interactions with her roommates also seemed like a highlight, adding a touch of realism and camaraderie to the story. ### Areas of Concern Unfortunately, the romance aspect of the story seems to be where things start to fall apart. The male lead's behavior is a major sticking point for me. His persistence, despite multiple rejections from the female lead, borders on uncomfortable. The idea that "chasing" someone who has explicitly said no is romantic is a trope that really needs to be retired. The dialogue and interactions between the main characters felt off. The supposed "high EQ" of the male lead definitely didn't translate in the story, and I found myself cringing at some of his lines.
