I Ended Up Living Together With the School’s Number One Beauty Who Rejected Me Even Though I Hadn’t Confessed to Her, but Why Are Her Beautiful Sisters Aiming to Steal My V*rginity? Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator

## My Thoughts on I Ended Up Living Together With the School’s Number One Beauty Who Rejected Me Even Though I Hadn’t Confessed to Her, but Why Are Her Beautiful Sisters Aiming to Steal My V*rginity? Alright, buckle up, because this title is a *lot* to unpack, and honestly, so is the story. "I Ended Up Living Together With..." (let's just call it "Living Together" for sanity's sake) promised a harem rom-com with a hefty dose of misunderstanding, and while it delivers on some fronts, the execution left me feeling… conflicted. ### First Impressions Initially, the premise is intriguing. An average-looking protagonist, a beautiful ice queen who rejects him preemptively, and a house full of sisters vying for his attention? It sounds like a recipe for some lighthearted, if somewhat predictable, fun. The initial chapters drew me in with the promise of unraveling the "why" behind Akane's rejection, and the dynamic with the other sisters seemed like it could offer some genuinely entertaining moments. ### What Works Well The interactions between the MC and the sisters who *aren't* Akane were definitely a highlight. There's potential for some heartwarming and genuinely funny slice-of-life moments sprinkled throughout. I found myself enjoying the family dynamic and the hints of kindness from some of the love interests. It's clear the author has a knack for creating engaging side characters, and I honestly wish they'd been given more focus. ### Areas of Concern However, there are some significant issues that hold "Living Together" back. Akane, the supposed main heroine, is a major stumbling block. Her behavior often veers into outright unlikeable territory. The "misunderstanding" plot point, while central to the story, feels dragged out and frustrating. Key information is withheld from the reader, creating confusion rather than intrigue. The plot felt like it was starting to meander aimlessly, and I started to lose interest in figuring out the "secret" everyone seems to be hiding. The story has also been dropped by its translator, leaving the story in an unsatisfactory and incomplete place. ### Final Verdict "I Ended Up Living Together With..." has potential, but it's ultimately bogged down by an unlikeable main heroine, frustrating plot contrivances, and the unfortunate fact that it's currently untranslated. If you're a die-hard harem fan willing to overlook some significant flaws and potentially MTL the rest, maybe give it a shot. Otherwise, I'd recommend looking elsewhere for your rom-com fix.
