Eunuch x Prince
Evil x evil
Yang He died in the summer of the first year of Changxi. He was sentenced to death by the new emperor – Ji Yao. Yang He was a very beautiful and powerful eunuch. He climbed the ladder and reached the highest position of power. After he won the fights against the Xue and Qi families, the Xie family unexpectedly struck. They enthroned a puppet emperor and took over the country.
Yang He wakes up after being beheaded, fifteen years earlier. He meets a young and abandoned prince – Ji Yao. He appears to be just an innocent and malnourished young boy.
The second time they meet, Yang He drowned someone in a lake. Ji Yao saw it, but there wasn’t fear in his gaze, instead, there was fascination.
In a trance, Yang He heard Ji Yao say: ” Yang He, I stole the throne and you ab*sed your power to harm the country. We are in the same boat. No one is cleaner than the other. Even if we are infamous for eternity, we will be together and inseparable for the rest of our lives.”

Author’s:
I had initially hoped for a gentle puppy, but what I got was a wild, untamed dog. This story, “Prince x Eunuch,” is set in ancient times, a BL (Boys’ Love) tale with a medium-length plot. It revolves around the relationship between a prince and a beautiful eunuch who has maintained their true appearance. This is a story of rebirth and features a younger partner.
In the early stages of their connection, both characters are nothing short of drama queens. One pretends to be submissive, while the other plays the role of a gentle soul. Both can be labeled as villains, with the aggressor being a tad bit eccentric. Keep in mind that the protagonist’s values in this tale may not necessarily align with the author’s values.

## My Thoughts on I Don’t Want to Anymore
"I Don't Want to Anymore" is a title that certainly piqued my interest, and after diving in, I can see why it's garnered such varied reactions. This novel is a dark, twisted tale of power, revenge, and obsessive love set in ancient times, and it definitely isn't for the faint of heart.
### First Impressions
The synopsis, as I quickly learned, barely scratches the surface. We're thrown into a world of scheming eunuchs, abandoned princes, and a thirst for power that consumes everything in its path. The initial setup, with Yang He's resurrection and his encounter with the young, seemingly innocent Ji Yao, is intriguing. However, the innocent facade quickly crumbles, revealing a much more complex and morally ambiguous dynamic.
### What Works Well
The novel's strength lies in its morally grey characters. This isn't a story of good versus evil; it's more like evil versus slightly less evil, or perhaps just differently evil. The manipulative nature of both Yang He and Ji Yao creates a constant tension that kept me hooked. The obsessive love theme is also well-executed, albeit in a very dark and twisted way. You can feel the characters' desperation and the lengths they're willing to go to, even if you don't necessarily condone their actions. The plot moves at a good pace, and the relatively short length keeps the story focused.
### Areas of Concern
While I appreciated the morally grey characters, I can also see how they might be off-putting for some readers. The lack of anyone to truly root for can be a frustrating experience. The non-con elements are also a significant trigger warning that potential readers should be aware of. The treatment of certain side characters, like the tragic Ji Huan, can also be quite disturbing.
### ⚠️ Spoiler Warning
Okay, let's be real. There are some things that happen in this story that are pretty rough. Ji Huan's fate is particularly upsetting, and it's understandable why some readers might feel the need to rewrite his ending in their daydreams. The power dynamics between Yang He and Ji Yao are also incredibly complex and sometimes cross lines that might be uncomfortable for some. Be warned going in.
### Final Verdict
"I Don’t Want to Anymore" is a compelling but flawed novel. If you enjoy dark, morally ambiguous stories with complex characters and aren't easily disturbed by non-con elements or tragic side plots, then you might find it a worthwhile read. However, if you prefer stories with clear heroes and villains, or if you're sensitive to certain themes, then this might not be the book for you. I give it a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars. It's a memorable read, but definitely not a lighthearted one.
