Greedy Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator

## My Thoughts on Greedy "Greedy" is a wild ride, and I can definitely see why it has such a dedicated following. It's a story that doesn't shy away from darkness, diving deep into themes of trauma, obsession, and second chances. While it might not be for everyone, it certainly left an impression on me. ### First Impressions The opening is intense, immediately throwing you into the deep end with the su*cide tag hitting hard right away. From there, the story rewinds, and we get to see how Lin Ru'an and Chen Zan's relationship develops, both characters grappling with their pasts and the baggage they carry. I was immediately hooked, curious to see how their connection would unfold and whether they could find solace in each other. ### What Works Well The chemistry between Lin Ru'an and Chen Zan is undeniable, even if it's a bit… intense. The author does a great job of portraying their obsessive love for each other, showcasing their individual "crazies" and how they somehow manage to fit together. I found myself really appreciating that the author explored the psychological aspects of the characters, especially Lin Ru'an's paranoia and Chen Zan's ability to pick up on his odd behavior. The side characters like Lin Ru'an’s grandpa and Chen Zan's friends really do add to the story. ### Areas of Concern While I enjoyed the overall story, there were a few things that felt a bit rushed or glossed over. I think the story could have benefited from exploring some issues in more depth, for example, the "aunt thing" felt a little brushed aside. Also, that random big bro character that showed up in the final arc felt a little cliche and unnecessary. I think it would be nice to see more of the university life. ### ⚠️ Spoiler Warning Okay, here's where I get into some potentially spoiler-y territory. The kidnapping plot point was definitely a surprise, and I can understand why some readers might have felt like it was a bit of a tonal shift. I did feel that it was a bit of a pull back. ### Final Verdict Despite its flaws, I found "Greedy" to be a compelling and ultimately satisfying read. It's a dark, dramatic, and sometimes disturbing story, but it's also a story about love, healing, and finding your place in the world. If you're looking for a sweet and fluffy romance, this isn't it. But if you're willing to embrace the darkness and explore the complexities of human relationships, "Greedy" might just be the crazy ride you're looking for.
