Her decision to "keep" the top warrior in the game is just so cute! ### What Works Well What really shines in this novel is the character development, particularly Ning Xin's. She starts as this sheltered, almost clueless girl, but she grows into someone willing to face hardship for the sake of her love. The male lead, on the other hand, is a perfect "male god" with a tragic backstory that made me sympathize with him. I loved how the author created a unique ML. He is OP but has a weak heart and is estranged from his father. Their relationship, both in and out of the game, is adorable and the author did a great job of giving depth to their relationship. The comedy is also spot-on, with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments. The romance is sweet and touching, and I appreciated how the story explored what it truly means to be a couple. The parents of the FL are also goals. ### Areas of Concern Honestly, my biggest complaint is that the novel felt too short! I wanted more side stories, a proper wedding scene, and glimpses into their future with children.
