Three years ago, Marshal Heinz Lyons was almost killed during the Century War between the Gars. Unbeknownst to him, he was saved by a young man named Chen Bai. Completely opposite of the straight-laced Marshal, Chen Bai is from a group of underground assassins. During his mission, once he found out that Heinz had an accident, he used this opportunity to escape from his handlers and save the Marshal at the same time. But, with his high-level ability, Chen Bai erased Heinz’s memory and ran away to create a life for himself. Three years later, Chen Bai would never guess that one of his subordinates caused an error that turned him into Marshal Heinz’s arranged marriage partner. Returning after three years, the young man dons a fake face and enters the world where Heinz lives as his fiance. Heinz wants to please his little fiance and turns to a book claiming to guarantee a one hundred percent success rate in wooing someone. This causes this big, loved Marshal to become a love-struck fool, always wanting to please his little fiance.

Every Day, the Marshal is a Love-Struck Fool for Me Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator

## My Thoughts on Every Day, the Marshal is a Love-Struck Fool for Me "Every Day, the Marshal is a Love-Struck Fool for Me" promised a lighthearted romance, and while it delivered on *some* of that, I found it to be a surprisingly plot-heavy sci-fi adventure with a dash of shounen ai. It wasn't quite what I expected, but I still enjoyed the ride. ### First Impressions I'll be honest, the first few chapters threw me for a loop. The story dives right into the futuristic setting without much explanation, leaving me feeling a bit disoriented. Some of the initial translations were a bit rough around the edges, making it harder to grasp what was going on. However, I stuck with it, and I'm glad I did, because the translation quality improved significantly after the first few chapters. ### What Works Well The core of the story, the dynamic between the MC and ML, is definitely a highlight. The MC's mysterious nature and hidden abilities added an intriguing layer to the plot. I enjoyed watching their relationship develop, even if it was a slow burn. The action sequences were engaging, and the overall plot, while not groundbreaking, kept me invested. I also appreciated the unique take on the guideverse genre, exploring the origins of Sentinels and Guides in a way that felt fresh. ### Areas of Concern Despite my enjoyment, there were some aspects that left me wanting more. The ending felt a bit rushed, and several plot threads were left unresolved. I was curious about the MC and ML's childhood connection, and I wished the author had explored that further. Also, the "lovesick fool" aspect of the Marshal, as advertised in the title, was more prominent in the beginning and less so as the story progressed, which was a bit of a letdown. ### ⚠️ Spoiler Warning Okay, time for spoiler-y thoughts! Some readers might be disappointed that we don't get to see the full fallout of the MC's identity reveal. There's also the matter of the pink website investigation and other dangling plot threads that never quite get resolved. Also, apparently the MC gets pregnant at the end? It's apparently very subtle, so keep an eye out. ### Final Verdict Overall, "Every Day, the Marshal is a Love-Struck Fool for Me" is a decent read. It's a relatively short and sweet story with an interesting plot, likable characters, and a satisfying (albeit rushed) ending. While it has its flaws, particularly in the pacing and world-building, the strong central relationship and intriguing mysteries make it worth checking out if you're a fan of sci-fi romance with a bit of action. I'd give it a solid 3.75 out of 5 stars, rounding up to 4 for the sheer enjoyment factor.
