Description

Having a strong sense of justice is really very vexing. Always lending money to others, and never having anything left for savings. Helping her neighbors, she was left saddled with a debt of 10 million TWD! The only way is to sell the B & B, which she’d put her heart and soul into. But the buyer showed disdain for her beloved B & B. She had no choice but to sneak into his company, to find some leverage. Then she would use that as a bargaining chip, forcing him to buy the B & B — Before coming into contact with him, she thought he was an unscrupulous businessman who was a mental nutcase. Growing closer, she discovered that he is actually very kind, and also very concerned about her…… She thought, he must never find out she is there to spy. Sneaking into enemy territory and failing to steal anything confidential. But ended up losing something more valuable instead……

Closer Little Spy Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator

## My Thoughts on Closer Little Spy "Closer Little Spy" promised a lighthearted romance with a dash of comedy, and for the most part, it delivered. It's a quick, breezy read that's perfect for when you want something uncomplicated and cute to fill your time. While it has some flaws, I found it enjoyable overall. ### First Impressions The premise is definitely unique: a daughter tasked by her father to essentially spy on a wealthy CEO to save the family business. I was immediately intrigued by the potential for misunderstandings and awkward situations. The initial chapters hooked me with the promise of a silly, low-stakes romance, and I was eager to see how the relationship between the leads would develop. ### What Works Well The core of the story is the relationship between Qiao Xuan and Yu Heng. Their interactions are genuinely adorable, and I appreciated the lighthearted tone. I also liked that Qiao Xuan, despite her initial mission, has a good moral compass. Yu Heng, while initially appearing cold, is revealed to be a caring and gentle person. This contrast in their personalities added depth to their relationship and made their eventual connection feel earned. The plot moves along at a good pace, and the writing style is easy to follow, making it a smooth and enjoyable read. ### Areas of Concern While I enjoyed the overall story, there were a few aspects that gave me pause. The premise of a father asking his daughter to blackmail someone felt a bit irresponsible, and I can understand why some might find Qiao Xuan's initial actions questionable, even if she has a strong sense of justice. I also found the ending to be a bit too cheesy for my taste, but that might just be a personal preference. ### ⚠️ Spoiler Warning Some readers may find the progression of the relationship between Qiao Xuan and Yu Heng to be a bit rushed. There is a moment where their relationship takes a physical turn rather quickly, which may not sit well with all readers, especially given the lack of a strong established romantic foundation beforehand. ### Final Verdict "Closer Little Spy" is a pleasant and undemanding read. If you're looking for a short, sweet romance with a few comedic elements, this might be right up your alley. Just be prepared for some potentially questionable plot points and a slightly cheesy ending. Overall, I'd recommend it as a fun and quick escape.
