Abandoned Talented Woman Decides to Live a Leisurely Life With Her Family Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator

## My Thoughts on Abandoned Talented Woman Decides to Live a Leisurely Life With Her Family This web novel, "Abandoned Talented Woman Decides to Live a Leisurely Life With Her Family," certainly presents an interesting premise. A noblewoman with memories of a past life, dumped by her fiancé, decides to forge her own path. While the idea is appealing, the execution, unfortunately, falls a bit short in my opinion. ### First Impressions Initially, the concept of a strong female lead using her past-life knowledge to improve her current world intrigued me. The tags promised a blend of slice-of-life, romance, and even some business management, which sounded like a fun mix. However, as I delved deeper, I found myself struggling to fully connect with the story. ### What Works Well The MC's parents are a definite highlight. Their decision to prioritize their daughter's happiness by leaving the country felt both brave and understandable. It's refreshing to see supportive parents in a genre that often leans towards dysfunctional families. Also, the premise of the MC using her knowledge to invent things, like a refrigerator and abacus, is a unique and interesting way of her improving her quality of life and those around her. ### Areas of Concern One of my biggest issues lies in the plot's pacing and focus. It felt disjointed at times, jumping between the MC's inventions, romantic interests, and the fallout from the broken engagement without a clear sense of direction. I also struggled with some of the characterizations. The Queen, in particular, came across as overly controlling and even somewhat unhinged, while the former Crown Prince's behavior was simply baffling. The fact that no one defended the MC after she was publicly humiliated was also very strange and felt out of place. ### ⚠️ Spoiler Warning **Proceed with caution! The following contains potential spoilers.** The ending felt rushed and unsatisfying. The resolution of the romantic conflicts seemed abrupt, and several plot threads, such as the national project and the consequences for certain antagonists, were left dangling. The identity of the reincarnated person was also a bit of a letdown. ### Final Verdict "Abandoned Talented Woman Decides to Live a Leisurely Life With Her Family" has potential, but ultimately, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. The plot felt scattered, some characters were difficult to root for, and the ending left me with more questions than answers. While the premise is intriguing, the execution needs further refinement to truly shine. I'd say it's worth a try if you're looking for a light read with a unique concept, but be prepared for some inconsistencies and a potentially unsatisfying conclusion.
