Description

The protagonist is Ralph Esteson, a reincarnated person. Even as a child in his past life, he had an unnecessarily sharp mind and overly keen hearing (practically superhuman hearing). Instead of being swayed by the “World Administrator” schemes that would entice ordinary people, he used them to his advantage, taking a “cheat” as a souvenir when reincarnating into another world, and starting life anew as a baby. He spent 15 years in the peaceful life of a fallen noble and then entered the Royal Magic Academy at 15. Two months later, he graduated early. He set “The Fastest in History” record. After that, he became an adventurer and lived a lazy life, until he met a prostitute (the heroine) in a brothel by chance, bought her freedom, married her, and now spends his days flirting and being intimate with her.

A Story About a Real Genius Who Reincarnates in Another World, Becomes a Genius Magician, and Flirts With His Former P*ostitute Wife Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator

## My Thoughts on A Story About a Real Genius Who Reincarnates in Another World, Becomes a Genius Magician, and Flirts With His Former P*ostitute Wife Okay, let's dive into this title, which is quite a mouthful! "A Story About a Real Genius Who Reincarnates in Another World, Becomes a Genius Magician, and Flirts With His Former P*ostitute Wife" certainly sets expectations, doesn’t it? After reading, my feelings are…mixed, to say the least. ### First Impressions Initially, the premise intrigued me. A genius MC in a fantasy world with some romance? Sounds like a fun power fantasy. However, I quickly realized that the execution might not live up to the potential. The pacing felt rushed, and I struggled to connect with the characters on a deeper level. ### What Works Well Despite my reservations, there are some aspects I can appreciate. The MC's intelligence is definitely a central theme, and if you enjoy stories where the protagonist consistently outsmarts everyone, this might scratch that itch. The action elements are present, and the "instakill laser attacks" (as someone put it) can be entertaining in a popcorn-munching kind of way. It delivers on the promise of a "clever protagonist" using "cheats" to get ahead. ### Areas of Concern My main issue lies in the execution of the romance and character development. The relationship with the "former p*ostitute wife" feels forced and lacks genuine emotional depth. The constant flirting and, ahem, "activity" overshadows any real connection between the characters, making it feel artificial and unearned. I also found the dialogue confusing at times, making it hard to follow who was speaking. The presence of other female characters felt pointless, as they didn't seem to contribute anything significant to the plot or MC's development. ### Final Verdict Overall, "A Story About a Real Genius…" is a somewhat disappointing read. While it delivers on the power fantasy aspect with a clever MC, the rushed pacing, weak character development, and shallow romance drag it down. If you're looking for a quick, mindless read with plenty of action and a focus on the protagonist's intelligence, this might be worth a try. However, if you're seeking a more nuanced story with well-developed characters and a meaningful romance, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. For me, it lands squarely in the "mid" category.
